With Bridges—the Kindermusik experience designed for meaningful, enriching intergenerational interactions—seniors, young children, and their family members can participate in six musical theme-based experiences over 24 joyful sessions. They sing, move, and play instruments together along the way.
Hosted downloadable albums guide the experiences so activity directors can focus on keeping all participants active and engaged. Chime balls, bells, shakers, clip claps, and a colorful mound of scarves keep the senses active, as music and movement weave seamlessly throughout the sessions. Duck mitts and bright stickers create the key moments where seniors and young children reach out and touch each other, contributing to the moments of bonding that make the program so effective. Little stress is involved for the leaders, who learn from a video less than 15 minutes long the best practices for preparing for sessions and adding their own personal touches.
